Jim Williams, Senior Pastor

Pastor Jim Williams began his ministry here in December 2007. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia and raised in Hansford, West Virginia. He made his decision to trust in Christ at the age of 7. At 17, the Lord burdened his heart to engage in full-time ministry. It wasn't until the age of 27 that he accepted that call and left West Virginia to attend Maranatha Baptist Bible College where he completed a Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling. Two years later he returned to his home church in Pratt, WV where he filled in as a lay pastor while the church was without a pastor.
In December 2004, he married his beautiful wife Erin. After being married for only six months, they moved to Lansdale, PA for Jim to complete his Masters of Divinity at Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. Upon graduation in May 2007, they started looking for a full-time ministry position. In June 2007, he started his Doctorate of Ministry at Calvary Baptist.
Pastor Jim's wife, Erin, trusted Christ as her Savior on December 2, 1996 while in the 8th grade. She graduated from Ohio University in 2004 with her Associate in Nursing (RN). She completed her Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) in April 2009.
Jim and Erin have 2 young boys that keep them quite busy. Family hobbies now include playing with cars and blocks...and cleaning up lots of toys!
